Leading with Care and Connection

Formerly known as PEMHS, Eleos—named after the Greek word for compassion—has been a trusted provider of mental health support since 1981. As a dedicated non-profit in Pinellas County, Florida, we offer a full spectrum of services, from crisis intervention and emergency screenings to inpatient care and community programs. Our goal is to empower individuals and families with care, understanding, and support when they need it most.

Accreditation

Eleos has been awarded the highest level of accreditation by CARF International, recognizing our commitment to exceptional and personalized care. This prestigious accreditation is a global mark of trust, achieved through rigorous evaluation and adherence to the highest standards of behavioral health services.

Eleos is licensed by the Florida Department of Children & Families and the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration. We are also accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and certified by the American Association of Suicidology.

Auxiliary Aid

Eleos provides Auxiliary Aids / Interpreter Services to clients and companions who are dead / hard -of-hearing and / or communicate in a language other than English at no cost to the client.
